Notice of exhibiting at "interOpto 2024 -Science Photonics Fair"

We will be exhibiting at "interOpto 2024 -Science Photonics Fair" to be held at Pacifico Yokohama during October 29-31, 2024. We will exhibit YIG(Y3Fe5O12)single crystals and other products.

●Highlights of the exhibition


Our company has developed an unique single crystal manufacturing device that uses four-elliptical mirrors to produce high-quality crystals by the floating zone method (FZ method). We proudly have market share of over 70% globally in this area.

At this exhibition, we will show part of this device as well as a group of single crystals such as YIG (Y3Fe5O12) grown with this device, which is used as an isolator material in the near to mid-infrared region.

 YIG(Y3Fe5O12)single crystal
Our main product is the infrared floating zone melting equipment (FZ equipment), and we also manufacture and sell single crystals grown using this equipment. We have now decided to manufacture and sell YIG (Y3Fe5O12), a crystal material for near- and mid-infrared isolators.

YIG crystals, which have a high Faraday effect, show high transmittance in the near- and mid-infrared wavelength ranges, so they are mainly used as an isolator material for 2050nm and 4550nm.
 Crystal trial production and Melting experiment
We offer crystal trial production and melting experiment using our own infrared floating zone melting equipment (FZ equipment) for materials specified by the customer.

Unlike other crystal growth methods, the FZ method does not require expensive crucibles or large amounts of raw materials. Therefore, it allows for cost-effective processing of various materials, such as those with slightly different compositions, expensive raw materials, or substances that need to be grown in specific atmospheres.
